7-Layer Gelatin Salad

Stir each flavor of gelatin in 1 cup of hot water in separate bowls until dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water to each gelatin bowl.

Put each gelatin flavor in a 9x13-inch pan or glass dish. Refrigerate 2-3 hours or overnight to set. Put Layers Together:

Start salad assembly after gelatin sets. Bottom layer: lime-flavored gelatin. Use different-flavored gelatin to layer each flavor. 

To achieve even layers, gently spread gelatin over the preceding layer with a spoon.

Add Fruit: Sprinkle a cup of chopped varied fruit over each gelatin layer. Layer gelatin and fruit until all seven flavors and fruit are utilized.

Chill: After adding layers and fruit, cover the 7-layer gelatin salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serve: Cut gelatin salad into squares or rectangles before serving. If preferred, serve cold with whipped cream or topping.
