Chocolate-walnut Blondies

1½ cups all-purpose flour, 180 g ½ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp kosher salt ½ cup (1 stick or 112 g) Unsalted butter ½ cup (90 g) firmly packed brown sugar ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 cup (180 g) bittersweet chocolate chips ½ cup (75 g) walnuts, roughly chopped

Insert the cooking rack and press the Bake button. Set the timer for two hours and adjust the temperature to 350°F (175°C); allow to heat.

Grease a loaf pan measuring 8 by 4 by 1 inch (22 by 11 cm) with cooking spray.

While lining the loaf pan with parchment paper, leave an overhang of 2 inches (5 centimeters) along both long sides. Coat the parchment with spray.

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium basin. Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large basin with an electric mixer on medium-high for approximately 3 minutes, or until light and airy.

Whisk in the vanilla extract and egg. With the motor set to low, incorporate the dry ingredients progressively while combining them just until combined. Add the chocolate morsels and hazelnuts and fold in.

After spreading the batter into the loaf pan that was prepared, position the pan on top of the tray.

Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the dish emerges clear. Cover with the lid. Select Cancel.
