Homemade Cat Treats

– 10 ounces canned salmon undrained – ▢1 egg beaten – ▢2 cups whole wheat flour

Ingredients

Prepare the salmon. Put the canned salmon and its liquid into a food processor. Pulse the salmon until it's very small pieces.

Mix the dough: Put the finely chopped salmon, beaten egg, and whole wheat flour in a stand mixer with a paddle tool. Mix until you get a dough.

Add water slowly, up to 1/3 cup at a time, until the dough comes together if it's too dry. Add a little more flour if the dough is too wet or sticky. You want the dough to be tacky but not too sticky.

Roll Out Dough: Put the dough on a greased surface and roll it out until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Cut forms out of the dough with a 3/4-inch cookie cutter.

Bake Treats: Put the treats that you cut out on the baking sheet that has been prepared. After getting the oven hot, bake the treats for about 20 minutes, or until they are crunchy and a little browned.

Cool: Put the treats on a wire rack to cool down completely before giving them to your pet.
