Jets Fight Off Multiple Teams To Sign ‘legit Playmaker’

Social media user Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reported that Ashtyn Davis has re-signed with the green and white.

Davis "had interest from a few teams" in free agency, according to Garafolo, "but [he] desired another year with head coach Robert Saleh and DC Jeff Ulbrich.

Davis, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, is "a legitimate playmaker" with the capacity "to assume a larger role.

Rosenblatt verified that Davis "returned to New York" after failing to secure a starting position during his free agency.

Jets Establish a Secure Position Saleh affirmed prior to the NFL Draft that the team would continue to make additions to the safety position at the Annual League Meeting.

Saleh halted an interview with Jets team correspondent Eric Allen in order to deliver a message to Davis.

I know Ashtyn exists; we adore him." Saleh stated, "I am certain he is looking, but if he watches this video, we will love you, buddy.

Ashtyn Davis's journey has been remarkable, and he exemplifies what can be accomplished with patience on players endowed with tools," Rosenblatt elaborated.

Some characterized his first couple of seasons as a third-round pick as a disappointment." Fans used to become enraged at the mere mention of his name.
