Tom Brady Says He's 'not Opposed' To A Late-season Nfl Return

Tom Brady said he would quit football "for good" on February 1, 2023, but he may be changing his mind.

As part of the "Deep Cut" show, which came out Thursday, host Vic Blends asked Brady if he would answer the phone if a team called him about an injury.

Brady said, "I'm not against it." "I'm not sure if they'll let me own an NFL team." I will always be in good shape. I can throw the ball forever.

I don't think they would let me come in for a short time like Michael Jordan did when he came back. I wouldn't be against it, though.

Blends suggested that the San Francisco 49ers might need a quarterback as they get closer to the playoffs.

Before giving his answer, Brady also brought up the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders.

In May 2023, Brady and Raiders owner Mark Davis agreed that Brady would become a part of the team's management group, as long as the NFL gave its approval.

Brady, who is 46 years old, also wants to start working this summer as a sportscaster at Fox Sports.
