Tuna Pasta Bake Recipe

1. 300g dried macaroni pasta 2. 40g Coles Australian Salted Butter 3. 2 tbsp Coles White Plain Flour 4. 2 cups reduced-fat milk 5. 3/4 cup reduced-fat grated pizza cheese 6. 425g can tuna in springwater, drained and flaked

Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Lightly grease an 8-cup capacity ovenproof dish.

Cook the pasta in a medium saucepan of boiling salted water, following packet directions, until tender.

Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid. Return the pasta to the pan.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until bubbling.

Remove from heat. Gradually stir in the milk until combined. Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes or until the sauce boils and thickens.

Add the sauce to the pasta along with the tuna and reserved cooking liquid. Toss to combine. Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish.

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden. Serve and enjoy!
